Meetings with Toledo Planning Commission on Dec. 6 and City Council’s Planning and Zoning Committee Jan. 9 resulted in the full approval of the Junction Neighborhood Master Plan. The plan will become an official addition to the City of Toledo 2020 Plan on January 23 at four pm at a meeting of the full City Council and Mayor in Council Chambers. Representative Marcy Kaptur, Paula Hicks-Hudson and Teresa Fedor, State Representatives are being invited to attend this momentous occasion for the Junction Coalition Community
The Junction Coalition and its partnership of community members and local government have several activities that have been happening since 2017. These programs are designed to build a stable and productive community.
Junction neighborhood youth help to feed Junction’s resident seniors and youth amidst the COVID-19 social distancing ordinance while learning basic culinary skills. Meal distribution is every Sunday @ 4:00 PM at the Fredrick Douglas center. If you are a Senior you may have your meal delivered to your door. Contact us at 419-408-0998 or 419-261-0598
